Samuel Annan

Samuel Annan is a Senior Manager in our firm with over ten (10) years of professional experience in financial accounting, auditing, and advisory services. His career spans across top-tier audit firms and includes extensive experience in both the private and public sectors.

He began his career with KPMG, where he served as an Associate, and later worked as a Senior Associate at VOSCON, a firm of Chartered Accountants. These roles provided him with a solid foundation in audit methodology, risk assessment, and financial reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

Since joining our firm, he has led a wide range of audit and assurance assignments, particularly in the pensions and investment fund sectors. His portfolio includes several Tier 2 and Tier 3 pension schemes.

He has also been actively involved in the audit of collective investment schemes, including the EDC Balanced Fund, Fixed Income Fund, and Money Market Fund, as well as Databank’s AMFund and other regulated investment products. These assignments have enhanced his expertise in fund valuation, NAV reviews, regulatory compliance, and portfolio performance assessments.

Beyond financial services, he has contributed to audits of donor-funded projects such as those sponsored by the European Union (EU), as well as public and quasi-governmental institutions including Ghana Post Company Limited and the Graphic Communications Group Limited.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from the University of Cape Coast. He is also a student member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana, further broadening his knowledge in taxation and fiscal policy.
