
Emmanuel is a highly experienced Manager at our firm, having served in various capacities over the past ten (10) years. Throughout his tenure, he has demonstrated strong technical expertise, leadership, and a deep understanding of financial reporting and assurance services, particularly within Ghana’s regulatory and operational frameworks.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon. He is a member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), and continues to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Over the years, he has led and participated in a wide range of audit and assurance assignments across various industries, including public sector institutions, private enterprises, financial institutions, and pension funds. His experience spans engagements with notable organizations such as the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Ghana Statistical Development Project, and Environmental Protection Agency, where he has contributed significantly to the improvement of internal controls, compliance, and financial reporting practices.
He has extensive experience auditing collective investment schemes, including the EDC Balanced Fund, EDC Fixed Income Unit Trust, and EDC Money Market Unit Trust, where he has demonstrated sound knowledge of fund accounting, valuation, and regulatory reporting. He has also audited several pension funds, including ECG Tier 3 Pension Fund, Petra Advantage Fund, GCB Amalgamated Fund PLC, Cedar Pension and Provident Funds, and Axis Pension Plan Scheme.
Furthermore, he has been actively involved in the audit of Tier 2 and Tier 3 pension schemes of prominent institutions such as Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Nestlé Ghana Ltd., COCOBOD, MTN Ghana, and Cocoa Processing Company (CPC). These assignments required a thorough understanding of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) framework, investment policy compliance, and actuarial valuations.
In the private sector, his audit engagements have included reputable companies such as Phyto-Riker (GIHOC) Pharmaceutical Ltd., Graphic Communications Group Ltd., GPAK Ltd., Reroy Cables Ltd., Reroy Power Ltd., Ghana Post Company Ltd., Mensvic Hotel Ltd., and Anghill Hotel Ltd. Through these assignments, he has developed strong insights into corporate governance, operational risk, and financial performance analysis.
As a manager, he is responsible for planning and supervising audit engagements, managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and mentoring junior professionals. His commitment to quality service delivery and professional development continues to make him a valuable asset to the firm.
